1939 Norton ES2 (Restored)

It is with a heavy heart that I must sell my Pre-War Norton ES2 Motorcycle. (500cc Single, 4-speed gearbox). I love this bike and have owned it for many years going to great pains to restore it back to original, searching worldwide for correct, original or NOS parts. If you know your Nortons, look carefully at the photos and note the attention to detail. Original cloth wiring harness, Lycett seat, Lucas Altete horn, correct speedo, Dunlop tires and he list goes on.  The gas tank is and original item (not an Indian re-pop) that I had beautifully chromed at great expense along with the oil tank and then hand painted exactly as it was from the factory! (I had the original and photographed it before they began work)  I even have an ORIGINAL 1936 TAX DISC! It runs beautifully and is super reliable. I have travelled far, far from home on it and it just keeps thumping away. It has won trophies and every event its been shown. I honestly had planned on having this for the rest of my life, but dwindling finances forces sale. Any pre-war motorcycle is hard to find, and these old British bikes are highly desirable with prices gong up every year. As people find the and squirrel them away in collections, getting your hands on one is getting near impossible. I can't remember the last time I saw a pre-war British bike listed on eBay. So, don't miss this opportunity, you will not be disappointed. The mileage shown is what is on the odometer and should not be considered accurate as the bike has been rebuilt. Any inspection invited, but before the auction ends please. If you are the high bidder, the bike is yours. Do your research, then just bid as high as you can and keep your fingers crossed. Please don't ask my reserve. Good Luck! You can see it here: ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
